We're doing our bit for the Big Society
An organisation is its people, and LBRO recognises that its staff contribute a huge amount to our society beyond their activities on behalf of better regulation during office hours.
As part of our commitment to the Big Society vision, we are encouraging their involvement with good causes.
LBRO staff wanted to use their skills as a team to support Epilepsy Action (Registered charity in England 234343) to raise awareness of its work and, in particular, a few simple first aid points that anybody can apply should they encounter someone having a seizure.
A member of our team was already actively involved in Epilepsy Action and we decided to make this our charity to support this year.
The decision as to which charity we support will be reviewed each year - our efforts will be in our own time and at no cost to the state.
