Monmouthshire sets the pace in Wales

Monmouthshire County Council is setting the pace for Primary Authority in Wales, with the first partnership agreement with a health board.
The council has entered into a primary authority partnership with the Aneurin Bevan Health Board to cover food safety and food safety and hygiene and food standards.
The health board was established in 2009 and serves an estimated 639,000 people in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and South Powys, and employs over 16,000 staff.
The council also has partnerships with master butchers H J Edwards, which has shops in Wales and England; and with Oasis Communications Ltd.
